An employee of the LLC "Innovative company MEVODENA", Busnyuk A. O. visited the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) within the framework of international cooperation between scientists KIT and MEVODENA company development and use of technology The Metal Foil Pump to solve a number of tasks in the project DEMO.

August 2019

30 August 2019 EUROfusion consortium delegation visited the LLC "Innovative company MEVODENA" Representatives of the consortium - Jerome PAMELA, head of the international cooperation Department in Germany and Dr. Christian Day made presentations on possible cooperation between EUROfusion and laboratories and institutes in the Russian Federation.

Report of the Jerome PAMELA «EUROfusion Visit to St. Petersburg» contained a roadmap for international cooperation between the Russian Federation and EURATOM in the DEMO project for commercial deployment of power generation using fusion.

Report of the Christian Day «The Metal Foil PumpResearch needs and opportunities for collaboration» was dedicated to the use of smart architecture to reduce inventory for reactor DEMO, allowing more efficient use of tritium fuel and simplifying the fuel cycle scheme fusion plants. An innovative element of the scheme is the use of Metal foil pump for separation and pumping hydrogen particles.

The third report was made by the President of Mevodena LLC» A. I. Livshits «Direct Internal Recycling at DEMO with the metal foil pump» included a description of the direct internal recycling of D/T, which may be used in the DEMO reactor. In addition, the report provides an explanation of the phenomenon superpermeable metallic membranes by hydrogen isotopes. Short way separation of D/T and He scheme was presented for the Direct Internal Recycling in fusion reactors.

After the presentations, a discussion was held on the preliminary plan for cooperation with KIT within the framework of the Russian Federation - Euroatom cooperation agreement.

April 19, 2019 representatives of the South Korean company CEO of LEEBRIDGE (the company is located in Ulsan), Mr. Leo lee and Mr. Hwang Jaeho visited the LLC «MEVODENA».The Korean guests were shown the latest achievements in the field of direct energy conversion of hydrocarbon fuels into electricity using fuel cells and innovative membrane technologies. Representatives of the South Korean company in turn told about the rapid development of hydrogen energy in their country with the support of this promising direction from the government and business.

Mach 2018

There was a demonstration of the work of the one-kilowatt diesel-powered electrochemical generator created at MEVODENA LLC with extraction of ultrapure hydrogen by vanadium alloy membranes developed at MEVODENA LLC and the generation of electricity by a hydrogen fuel cell (solid polymer) developed by the Russian company BMBKS, representatives present. Stable generation of nominal electric power (1 kW) with Euro 5 diesel fuel was demonstrated.
